ATMOSPHERIC COLLECTION
Capture the quiet contemplation of a rainy evening in the East End with "Stroll In Rain". This evocative piece from the Atmospheric Collection focuses on the architectural forms of a classic Law Street home, distilling the scene into a meditative study of light and shelter.
THE SCENE
A solitary figure with a black umbrella navigates a rain-slicked Law Street in Provincetown. The composition is anchored by a white two-story New England home, its windows casting a warm, golden glow that spills onto the wet pavement. Beneath the reflected illumination of a streetlamp, the figure's silhouette and umbrella create a striking reflection, while lush, dark foliage provides a deep contrast to the luminous elements of the "Blue Hour".
ARTIST NOTE
With "Stroll In Rain," my focus was to capture the atmospheric soul and the feeling of "cozy shelter" that settles over Provincetown during a rainy evening. The golden light spilling from the windows against the deep, wet indigo of the pavement represents that moment of quiet contemplation we often find when the world slows down. The solitary figure and their reflection serve as a reminder of the meditative peace found in the Outer Cape's unique coastal light.
This hand-signed, limited edition print is an invitation to step into that stillness and carry a piece of Provincetown’s evening grace with you.
