ESSENTIALS COLLECTION

"Abide" Series: Eighty-Two: The internal soul of the house as a vessel for shelter.

82 Commercial Street, Provincetown

This inaugural series focuses on a singular historic structure at the edge of the Cape. Through four distinct states of watercolor, the house at Eighty-Two is revealed.

THE SCENE

The Soul: A study of shelter and stillness. By revealing the windows and the door, the house is transformed from a geometric shape into a vessel. Abide focuses on the internal life of the structure—the parts that remain constant while the weather and light change around it. It is a quiet acknowledgment of the spaces that hold our history, cradled in a soft, protective wash.

ARTIST NOTE

"In Provincetown, the light is a constant—but the noise is a choice. These works are the choice to see what is essential." — Marshal Walden
